Reboot

Restarting the projector might be a good idea. Be sure to also try some of the alternative ideas.

Alternate Plan 1

This projector has been stored in a bag in the library...all packed neatly away. This is also an older projector. Realizing that the projector lense cover is not a sliding cover and that the cover isn't in the bag...he realizes that the lens cover is still in place and once it is removed the image is projected clearly.

Alternate Plan 2

Clean the lens! Maybe it has too many prints and smudges. That might do it or you might find that silly lense cap still in place.

Alternate Plan 3

If it were not the lens cap, it could be that the computer's resolution is not set to the right level for the projector.

Electricity

It is evident that the power is on and projecting light.

Cables

Double checking the cables wouldn't hurt. He was in a hurry with plugging everything in. Make sure everything is connected tightly.

Mr. Clarity had to borrow a projector from the library and is runny a little behind because of it. He quickly plugs the power cord in and attaches the vga cord to both the projector and computer. He turns the projector on. The projected display is blurry...really blurry! He knows that he can manually adjust the focus and tries without success.

With 20 cross-eyed faces waiting for a clear view of the presentation that he has spent lots of time on, what can he do?

Lights

The projector lights should not be the issue. It is evident that the power is on and projecting light. It seems to be with the focus of the display.
