Mrs. Duel uses both her Dell computer and her iPad (via Apple TV) to display presentations to her students. She has plugged in her compuer to the projector via the HDMI to VGA converter and turned the projector on. The projector is not projecting her computer display, but shows that it is set to the HDMI source.

Mr. Clarity had to borrow a projector from the library and is runny a little behind because of it. He quickly plugs the power cord in and attaches the VGA cord to both the projector and computer. He turns the projector on. The projected display is blurry...really blurry! He knows that he can manually adjust the focus and tries without success.
